Hi, When providing SQL protection, closed transaction means the same as if you had log shipping set up.  DPM will automatically backup the transaction logs at regular intervals just as log shipping would and then send them over to the DPM server....

Hi, Thanks! Yes it realy helping me. But a term "Closed Transaction Log" is confugsing me. as we know that DPM 2010 relies on VSS and VSS only know the Disk Level changes (Block Level) it does not aware SQL Server Transaction Log Backup or SQL...
