Hi, This might be a stupid question, but can I setup a normal Hyper-V cluster, but add another NIC for a DPM backup network - with both the management traffic IP and the DPM network IP registering in DNS? Do I have to use hosts files, or should I just run all DPM traffic over teh management port? AD DC/DNS: 10.0.0.1Cluster vIP: 10.0.0.2HostA: 10.0.0.3 / 192.168.1.3 HostB: 10.0.0.4 /...

Hi, DPM will choose whatever location it it likes in the storage pool to save data.  You can create multiple "raw" storage disks and add them to one storage pool, but you have no control over where DPM places the files.  The only way to achieve what you are after is to use custom volumes as you can specifiy protection groups to use set custom volumes. Hello, I'm trying to backup my DPM 2010 DB using DPMBackup.exe.  The server has a local install of SQL. I got the instance name from the registry - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Data Protection...
